How we keep every vehicle road-trip ready
The Nairobi–Mombasa highway, the corrugated murram roads of Amboseli, the steep gradients of the Rift Valley escarpment — Kenyan roads ask a lot of vehicles.
Mileage-based servicing
We service every vehicle at 5,000 km intervals, not the standard 10,000 km some manufacturers suggest. Kenyan conditions — dust, altitude, and stop-start city traffic — accelerate wear in ways that calendar-based schedules don't account for.
Pre-trip checks
Before any long trip, our workshop runs a 22-point check covering tyres, brakes, fluid levels, lighting, and the spare tyre (a full-size spare, not a space-saver). This check is logged in our trip management system and signed off by the mechanic and driver.
What happens if something goes wrong on the road
We carry a breakdown kit on every vehicle and have roadside assistance partnerships along all major corridors. In eight years of operations, we've never had a passenger stranded for more than 90 minutes.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to — and why our fleet consistently earns 4.8★ and above from riders.
